    I am not a great white carb lover, I prefer brown or wholemeal, but I luv chocolate and creamy desserts, or scones and jam etc etc. So being low carb isn't really that difficult, what I am finding out is how carbs in the bread and the porridge really do make my bg go up and for a long time too...

    Sorry again if this has been asked millions of times. I notice on labels that carbs are put on the label like this total carbs- of which sugar. Which is the gram figure I should be concentrating on lowering, all the carbs or just sugar carbs. Thanks.

    Hi S.J. Its good to be angry because you can turn that energy around and use it as a positive force to get yourself back into the wieght loss zone. I know how you feel but you have to start to reduce how much food energy you are giving your engine and up the exercise to burn your excess energy...

    Sue it looks to me like you are doing very well, your figures show a very positive picture, granted you've got a lot of emotive stuff going on that you have to overcome but you are doing great, you are lighter than me, BG's better than mine too so I can look to you for inspiration Sue.

    Thanks for your replies. Its too early for me to help you Q007, I'm still wondering about my 2. But it is interesting reading on other threads where the type 2 on metformin can actually not have to take it in the end. Perhaps pain triggers anxiety and then inturn raises your heart beats?
