    Yes, fruits has not that much carbs.. I used to think that fruits really send sugars up, it does, some of them. It feels wrong somehow to see BS staying on the same line after eating an apple. Red grapes lower the sugar..that is something even more weird..in some way I thought apple did...

    Be carefull F! Inner arm, inner thighs are dangerous places to inject..it has got veins in there and if insulin goes straight into vein you will simply collapse. As you almost experienced yourself :D Carefull.. Why would you need such quick absorbsion?

    Hi jimmytwoshoes :D I think you would find Dafne really usefull. Ask about it your diabetes care specialist. And yes, it teaches you how much insulin you need for the amount of carbs you are about to eat and much much more :thumbup:

    Physicians did actually check the theory. If you follow dafne you know your patterns and ratios really well and you know what caused the hypo, they teach you that. I had to edit this post too, sorry AMBrennan. P.S. I understand now what you were saying.

    Moonstone, i can eat apple not having a hypo and my blood stays still, while if I eat something without carbs at all, like meat or cheese, it goes up fast. I hate lucozade or anything too sugary and apple definatelly has more then 10 g of carbs.
