I have been eating medicines for diabetes

Thank you, for your answer - this helps us a lot already, but yes, the other questions here are also important, so try to take some time, and answer the questions you already have an answer to give on. We can assume, but only assume, that you are a type 2 then...

I have been eating medicines for diabetes

Hello there @Yogibear39 , and welcome:) Could it be, that for some reason the name of your prescribed medicine is left out, namely: Diag is usually a medical abbreviation for diagnose, and SR, is pointing in the direction of a medicine of type Slow Release ??

    Dka

Agree with @bulkbiker ,and maybe also tell us what medication you are on - if it is a SGLT-2 inhibitor, the chances for DKA is a bit bigger... Edited to add a question: Are you a type 2 or a type 1? Suppose it is type 2...

Dàna Diabecare RS anyone know anything about it?

Hello there @Badbloods , and welcome! Haven't got a clue myself, but I'll try to call @tim2000s for you...maybe he can give some comments. (That is, if he's still around...)

    eggs

And just to add...I don't know if you have noticed, but it's not only the taste. A free range hen, lays eggs, that crack in a normal way, where all the caged poor hens, lays eggs that crack like there was glue in the shell...

    eggs

Hello @Laconic ! As no one have yet had the possibility to answer, I'll give a highly personal preference. I'd go for the free range, as the hens in this case at least to some degree are able to eat, what a hen is supposed to eat. This is, as long as the hens are free range. If I remember...

    Ceylon cinnamon

Hello again @Bobert66 ! True, as Jo is stating here above, carbohydrates does not really go hand in hand with diabetes, and above all type 2. As a type 1 myself, I should really be able to eat and process carbs, with the help of added insulin, but as more carbs mean more insulin, I also try to...

    Bererine as a supplement

Morning @Ray807 I'll try to remember to do that :) (my memory is at least in need fore some wonder drugs, you know...)

    New Type 1 (or 2?) - confused!

Hello @wanderingcoda , I agree with becca here above, and wish to add. If your blood sugar values are varying, it could be that your pancreas is still partly working, EVEN if your diagnosis is type 1 - this is called honeymoon phase. There is no way saying, for how long it will pump insulin for...

    Im new

Hello there @Emily123045 , and welcome:) Usually takes me too long time to write down a few sentences, that I'm seldom the first one to say hello - usually at least Jo, is a lot faster in answering than me ;) But over to you. Do you have some specific questions, or do you just peek in to say...

    Ceylon cinnamon

OK, then I have one more question. What do you eat in a normal day? The truth is, namely, that food choices as a type 2, is a very important factor in getting BSL in control, and at the same time, usually most of all other values will follow. Tagging @JoKalsbeek , who is herself a type 2, and...

    Breakfast

Hello there @Jim2702 , and welcome here :) Do you have a blood sugar meter? If not, then I think you could get a better understanding of your own situation, and better understanding of what is happening, if you could get one. You say "higher dosage", but it's unclear what you are comparing...

    Ceylon cinnamon

Hello @Bobert66 :) May I ask why you are going to take cinnamon? High BSL, or some other problem?

    Bererine as a supplement

Hello again @Ray807 :) I agree with you, and I suppose you know what you are doing, as your chosen headline is Berberine as a SUPPLEMENT, and that's the point, in my opinion also - it goes as a supplement for treating a disease, illness, whatever you wish to call it. At this time, I'm trying...

    Bererine as a supplement

Good Morning, and welcome @Ray807 ! It's not clear, if you are a Type 1 or type 2, so I'd recommend you fill in some personal data. It's easier to give appropriate advice, if we know what type you are... But to your question. If you are a type 2 , you can have palpable help from taking...

    Hypurin porcine availability

I could try to at least help you, in checking the situation in my part of the world, if this is a common problem right now or if it is a local problem in the UK... I'll try to remember, to stick my nose in, at my local pharmacy this evening. Any notice in advance, about possible general problems...
