Type 1: Decision re libre results

So 7 days since starting the wonderful freestyle libre and seeing my graphs has led me to the decision I have no choice but to try lchf. My spikes are horrendous. My graphs are far from in range. I'm going to aim for lower carb (low for me personally) to begin with 100g ish. I'm terrified as I...

    Sugar!!

Try Beyond Dark Chocolate Drops. They are amazing and 10g carbs for the 35g bag which for me would be 2 servings so 5g each serving. They really suit my sweet tooth. I found them in Holland and Barrett. Chocologic also do fairly low carb chocolate but not just as tasty. They are sold in Tesco

    Type 1s: Acceptable spike

What does every one consider an acceptable 1 and 2 hour post meal spike? Since having the freestyle libre I'm shocked at how I spike after certain foods. For example I was 7.5 before breakfast had 30g carbs 1 hour post 10.9 2 hours post 13.9 4 hours post 7.9 So although I came back after 4...

Type 1: Insulin resistance and exercise

So I'm type 1 diagnosed 6 years ago. As I've said before I spent a long time in depression and abusing my body one way through binge eating. Long story short I was then this year diagnosed with insulin resistance as a result of this and put on Metformin 500mg breakfast and evening meal. I've...
