    Whats the best way then... recommended? I usually eat more porridge, cereal, glucose tabs before i exercise but as you say is that a waste of time if im just burning of the carbs and sugar that ive just previously absorbed?

    I love sugar free jelly, had it for years and always add stuff to it, fruit , yogurt and cream as said above. Look carefully and can find certain angel delights lowish carbs.

    As mentioned above, Whey protein is mainly used by muscle builders. I add lots to my porridge every morning and like the added flavors in many of them. I also eat lots of turkey, chicken and fish (all high protein) I like the shakes as well. Just get a low carb / sugar version if you WANT...

    I just have just been offered a position with East Coast Railways (not controlling trains only platform work) and on the contract form it asked 'do i have any health conditions?' I answered YES type 1 diabetes, it then said 'are you classed as disabled?' I answered NO.

    Whats your weirdest phobia?

    Not sure is this counts as phobia but i HATE constant / annoying things. Like people sneezing / coughing constantly over and over all at once or.. rattles , and recurring noises over and over , i just have to move out the area. It just winds me up and makes me angry!! :banghead:

    Yeah as above, i was once offered a pump but i refused due to the amount of times i do circuit, exercise, running and cycling classes. I would of thought the amount of sweating / showering i do would have unstuck it and the inconvenience of attaching removing the pump itself if needed.

    Your eating very very little amounts of food. I would eat more calories in a range of food and have more insulin medication which ever you take.

    Ive tried that but prefer non sweetened SOYA milk. Non Dairy the same. Varied makes - Morrisons is 80p-90ish

    Ive been taking 2 different multi vits for many years and im thinking of stopping as i have never noticed any difference.
