    I would try a gym first to make sure you actually enjoy one and are capable of using it. Very good quality, comfy , informative and stable ones are hundreds of pounds most of the time, just depends on what you would like. I have tried cheap ones and difference really is extreme.

    Eating several meals a day is not viable or possible for most working people. 3 spaced varied meals is more than enough for your metabolism.

    Almond milk.

    Ive recently gone onto soya milk and found it helps stable my BG's alot. I have tasted the almond and cant really tell that much difference but it does taste a little creamier to me. The UN-sweetend versions are best and yes i have them in tea and coffee.

    I use alot of protein shakes as i go to the gym allot however most of them are VERY high in carbs and sugar! you can get diet versions but still they are very high. regards

    I had a book once (i think it came in a news paper) with foods pictured with the levels of sugar that is in them. (equivalent to something, cant remember) GI maybe. A banana was in the highest at 7 tea spoons of sugar.
