    Unfortunately, I think your numbers are a bit too high to think about letting lose on vacation. Ideally you should be running under 7. Are you on medication?

    Mine spikes at the gym then resolves about an hour later, then I cruise at a lower level for the rest of the day. How long did you wait after working out to test ? 5.2 is pretty awesome btw

    The idea is to have something nutritious, but not necessarily super appetizing. That separates the “eating because you’re bored” and “eating because you’re actually hungry” if I have hard boiled eggs and cheese on hand, that would be way too easy to graze on.

    One factor not mentioned is exercise. An hour of resistance training at the gym makes a huge difference on what I can eat.

    Doc pulled me off blood pressure medication. So I’m drug free. He recommended a statin, but nah, not yet.
