I echo what @Dark Horse is saying.... its really nothing to overly worry about at this stage... the beauty of regular check ups and good technology is that we can stay up to date with every tiny little change that takes place.....even though in this case, there is a good chance you wont need...

I realise that....but it means that you can confidently say the issues that you have when eating normally are down to the dose and delivery of your bolus...so easy to fix....

this is actually good information, its means that your basal is more or less doing its job..... this makes establishing the correct ratios much easier.....;)

Hit the nail on the head..... Basal needs to be adjusted right to the limit for your true bolus doses to come through......and to be effective....;)
