Why is it when I wake up my reading is fine I then have a healthy breakfast weetabix and blueberries I take the required amount of insulin then my libre sensor alarm goes off and my readings are high half hour after taking my insulin

When I was training years ago I used to take a protein called ELITE I found that good for me it was low sugar,but obviously we all different just watch and keep track

Why is it that before I go bed my readings are fine then after my night insulin when I’m getting up they are higher then after taking morning insulin for my breakfast with a little extra to try bring it down it goes even higher again,it’s only just started doing this,anyone with a possible reason

No increase in my readings after insulin for my evening meal,libre sensor alarm ringing had couple of biscuits still not going up only once above 4 on several sensor readings,what is best to do there nothing wrong with me just only saying glucose level low

I had a couple of heroes chocolates lastnight woke up this morning reading was high,I took more than enough insulin for breakfast to bring it down but 2hrs after it was still high 18 is that normal to be still high after insulin

No just a normal day 1 unit to 8g carbs but out of 11 readings yesterday 8 was under 4 I’ve never had that low all day

Yes that’s right,I am a carpenter and this weather is very hot for sure,,I will be ringing my GP today my wife also works I’m my doctors I will be seeking advice today,thankyou

Good morning it’s happening in work as well but has you said it’s only been this bad since weather I think this may be the case I will check with my GP today I am normally good as I have had this about 17 years,thanks for you reply

Thanks for your reply,yes I’m in contact with her over the phone,I’ve been diabetic 16 years and these last 3 weeks have been the worse I’ve ever had looking back on my dosage for same food I’m eating now was a lot less and readings perfect then,now I’m upping dosage and readings barely dropping...
