    Should I see a Dr

I hope you did well at the Gino. I had the same when I began to menopause, sometimes just standing up would create such a flood despite using triple protection. I couldn't leave the house at times, the bathroom at others! I bought a Mooncup and it was life changing. Amazing product. I could...

I have just arrived in USA after flying from Gatwick and I bundled up my blood testing kit with enough strips and lancets and tablets to last the trip ( in case suitcase went missing- it has happened) in a see through plastic bad the same as liquids. The security didn't even blink an eye when I...

Is it possible for something to have sugar and be low carb?

I have found that I now only focus on the carb content of foods when purchasing rather than the sugar- does this work? If something has a lot of cigar in would that always make it high carb? Thanks

Thanks guys. I run everyday between 5 and 8k, which I always have done, and it seems all my hard work has paid off as I had a reading of 4.5 the other evening! The danger is I may become complacent so back on the strict diet and running regime for me. I lost just over two stone, another 2 to go...

    Hooray

Went out for a celebration with my daughter tonight to a pizza restaurant. There was nothing low carb at all so I thought 'what the heck' and 'it's a one off' ( I am usually very strict) and had a pizza, ( white base rather than tomatoe) I have been low carb high fat for ages now, lost a lot of...

Bulletproof coffee, am I doing it right?

I made bullet proof coffee a few times ( my problem is that I don't like fresh coffee [emoji45]) however one day I made it and couldn't manage to drink it all at once. Leaving it to go cold. It was almost like a Frappee, really thick and creamy, ( but horrid as tepid fresh coffee lol) Has...

    Porridge

I have eaten porridge every morning for 50 years and now I have found it gives me a huge spike an hour after ( up to 13) , usually gone back down to a more acceptable level at two hours ( in the 5's or6's, however I usually run for around 45 mins straight after so the days I have measured the...

Type 2 One or two hour testing after meals?

Please can I have some opinions on testing bgl? Should I test an hour or two hours after food? When I had gestational it was two hours, on diagnosis recently the Dr told me an hour, ( but I did two hours) so recently I have alarmed myself by testing an hour after and sometimes getting high...

Diabeties nurse, bullet proof protein and thank you.

I too have a clinical side Brunnaria, and I quite agree. I will still do some two hour tests, however perhaps take it a bit easier on myself. I have been doing at least 7 tests a day, with an extra 3 recently for the hour after so my thumbs are getting quite sore. I think I will start a new...
