    A1C dropped

I had an A1C test a couple of days ago. Its down to 6.4 from 6.6 in February. I'm doing this with the help of Ozempic, currently on the 1mg dose. Imagine what I could do if I behaved a bit better!

    I'm unstable

We went to get medical travel insurance this afternoon for an upcoming trip. Once I declared I was diabetic (Type 2) all the fun started. I'm considered unstable because I was only diagnosed in January. It needs to be a year. Since the Dr. recommended going on metformin and I begged for...

I got surprised yesterday- no meds needed

I was called in to the Dr.'s office for a diabetes consult. I was mentally prepared for the riot act, medications, ongoing referrals, the whole nine yards. What I didn't expect was " you are managing beautifully " !!!!???? Really. My A1C had gone from 6.7 to 6.6, which is .1 over where...

    Sleep issues

I am not sleeping well at all. I keep a routine, bed at the same time... watch liquids after dinner, no eating after dinner, exercising in the day time, dark room, all the things they suggest except the social media, I do turn the brightness to minimum though. Sleep is an issue with older...

    Testing after meals question

I know that 2 hours is a usual wait time but what I don't know is how long the meal should last. I mean I could nibble for two hours and call it a meal but is there a generally recognized time frame for meal completion after you start eating?
