Cannula needle to small and not getting insulin properly.

So I normally use the tenderlink with the angled needle and I have decided to switch back to the flex link plus. I ordered the 6 mm needle and I was having real trouble controlling my sugars, so I've come to the conclusion that the needle length is too small for me. Ive never put cannulas in...

I am a type 1 on an insulin pump, and for over a year now I've been getting a reoccurring rash on my chest neck and face. It will become extremely itchy when exposed to heat or when adgitated by clothing. I am taking antihistamines daily and they do help, but my doctor could not give me a...

    Surely this can't be right????

I'm type 1 and aloud to eat what I want aswell but I do weigh out my food so I can do the maths correctly, so I never bother with full sugar drinks because they're too complicated to work out unless its in a personal size bottle/can.

Hi, I'm on an accu chek spirit pump and I'm having trouble finding a infusion set I'm happy with. I started on the flexlink and found these very painful even when using the link assist so I tried the flex link plus. I found these quite painful as well, but I'm not sure how much of it is in my...

Yes I have had a few panic attacks non-diabetes related, but I haven't spoken to anybody or my diabetes team about it. Maybe I should phone my nurse for some help. Thank you for your reply.

    hypo type 1

Hello, im 19 and a type 1. When I have a bad low that lasts longer then 15 minutes, I start to get short of breath, with heavy panting and get quite worked up even when my blood sugar is going back to normal.
