I have not gotten an infection, but I all of sudden got allergic to the uh..band aid? around the needle. I didn't understand it at first and skipped pump sites- I got red and swelled up around the needle. Now I just use another kind of uh...band-aid under the other..not going to write that word...

I'm on Metformin also and I don´t have any problem with my stomach. I always take it when I'm having a meal. I was given it to counteract the weight gain I had when I started to take Amitriptilyne for my neuropathy.

I'm a pump user, and I test myself 5-8 times a day. I live in Iceland and I dont need my doctors presciptions for those. I get a permission for them every five years . Social security pays most of the cost of those too. But for the first time in my life I have to pay for the insulin...

I also like weird things :) ACV can be bad for your teeth( acid), if you drink it trough a straw it will help.

Basal is 20 and Bolus from 10-20. My doctor tells me that 0,8-1,0 per kg is normal. I'm 65 kg, so I use less than that. I used more insulin before I got my pump.
