    After my first review of using the Libre for six months it estimated my HbA1c would be 51 but the blood test showed 48 so not too far out !

    I was always turned down for a Libre until recently because my control was always thought of as very good so I guess the same criteria for an artificial pancreas will be the same .

    For over 40 years of air travel I have carried a letter from my Dr saying I'm carrying needles etc and never once been asked to show it ! I did get a replacement a few years back because the paper started to rot away .
