DEFINITELY!!! would be so much easier! Especially for us young ones that are active all the time so we're more interested in doing our sports and then forget to do our insulin so it would be so much easier!

I will! I test a lot anyway bit I'll test more and I'll write them down more often too because sometimes I'll check my blood sugars and then not write it down in the diary so I'll make sure to write it down every time

Okay went to clinic today and it's not as bad as I though... 4 injections 3 fast acting and 1 long acting so fast acting 8 units at breakfast then 8 at lunch then 10-12 and before bed 22 units of long acting... I don't use a pump and I can say I have no clue about them but with me being on injections I can say that I went through a time where once I had taken my insulin before bed it wouldn't work we changed my injection sight and had the pen checked over and that made no difference we then tried more...

Ok so Iv got the diabetic clinic tomorrow and we're changing from 3 injections to 4 injections a day and I'm really anxious about as I'm insulin sensitive so if we change something by 1 unit of insulin blood sugars go all over the place so going onto 4 injections a day is really scary I guess...

Well once I have all those dextrose tablets I wait 15 minutes to have a few biscuits and then 30-50 minutes later I recheck as this is what I was told to do by my diabetic nurse

Hey I'm a type 1 diabetic aged 14 and last week I fell sick with ketonacidocis but I have no clue why. I had all my insulin all the right amount and all injected correctly.. The hospital didn't tell me how I managed this. Can anyone help with why this happened?
