breakfast. What food should i give for breakfasts i was told any cerial that isnt coco flavor or sugar coated. But shreddies have 39.3g of carbs and 12.9g of suagr. Isnt that to much for breakfast.

Has had diabetes for 7 months ad is still not settled. Every day his levels are all over the place most of the time he is high and if he isnt high he is low. The nurses are usless dont seem to give me any help. Could his levels being up and down becuse of somthing im doing wrong.

Yeah it stoped after a wipe. its just so scary when you see that you have made him bleed, doesnt help that he was screaming from as soon as he seen the needle until i put it away.

well a bit more than normal and it was darker than normal.

My little boy is being so difficult with having his injections and tonight when i pulled the needle out it brought a big lump of dark blood out is that normal or have i done somthing wrong?

Whats carb counting about? Dylans nurse has not said anything about it just that he can eat nearly everything he used to aslong as its sugar fee or low sugar and at snack or meal times.

Can you use no added suager jam?

At the moment he only gets one injection before breakfast but he did get 2 one before breakfast and tea. we dont carb count he has mixtard30 insilin. and has set meal and snack times. We have to ring the nurse up everyday to tell ushome much insiln to give him.
