    Treating diabetes with cannabis

Yeah i agree with you there cugila, there needs to be more more medical reserch done before any of the laws change. Also read somewhere that certain synthetic variaties, or the extraction of specific chemicals within cannabis are sometimes not as effective as the cannabis itself, either in...

    Treating diabetes with cannabis

I can kinda understand if the mods delete this, its still classed as illegal with no medicinal use. Yet the government has licensed Satavex which is, in all sense and purpose, chemicals extracted from cannabis using alcohol (the cannaboids are not souluble in water, only in fats/oils or a...

    Treating diabetes with cannabis

Apologies for length in advance, I kinda went off on one with this post! Without getting into the whole (IMHO, based on an outdated and Draconian law) legality of cannabis, I started using it about a year ago. I had what i can only describe as irritatingly painful and physically draining...

hypo at work - told to get back to work by boss

I know what your getting at, but one of the many effects of hypos (as many would probably agree) can be aggressive, almost drunk, behavior. If that was backed up by a HCP and mentioned to them hopefully it needn't go as far as being sacked and having to peruse an unfair dismissal case! just my...

    diabetes in the RAF

Hi Retrospect, i was kinda in the same boat as you. Joined the RAF in jan 2000 as a rigger (airframe technician) and left in sept 2007. Came back from det and had a pretty bad bike smash 2 days later in 2002. had multiple injuries, broken femur, torn femoral artery, broken foot and ankle...

    Diabetic themed tattoos ???

I was going to get it done with a black outline but the tattooist suggested i have it without one and see what i thought. I could always add an outline at a later date, but personally am happy with it, prob get it recoloured in a few years. I was actually thinking about adding 'Type 1' to it...

    Diabetic themed tattoos ???

Hi, got this one done about 3 or 4 years ago now. Think it cost about £60 which you could end up spending on lots of bracelets/necklaces if you have a tendency to miss place things! Got it on the inside of my right arm, and the most common question i get asked when folk see it is "Are you really...
