How do you correct for your delicious mistakes?

I've recently had to change my correction dose, I found that it wasnt working as well as it used to. Am not sure if its because am taking more care of myself now and eating correctly or my hormones are changing so on so forth. Most of the time I'll check an hour or so after eating as you got to...

Am shocked that they wont let you go on the pump even when your long term check is high. Their job is...

Please do, am new to the London hospital system and am still trying to sort everything out over here, but they are a much better support team than Bedford, they don't make me feel like a failure and actually help me move forward which is what I defiantly need. Looking back on it now, the pump is...

Does anyone else feel nervous telling people they have diabetes?

Yeah, I gathered that, thanks that makes sense. I think I get upset because my levels are no where near under control and it's just a reminder that I can't always eat what I want because my levels are already high. But hopefully I'll be able to change that soon

Does anyone else feel nervous telling people they have diabetes?

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes almost 10 years ago now and I still feel nervous and slightly embarrassed to tell people. I don't know why, I guess I just hate the fuss that comes with it. Its as if everyone suddenly becomes my mum asking me if I should be eating chocolate or if I should be...

I've been looking into this and want to try it out. I was on the pump a few years back but it didn't help much but I think that was down to me not taking the illness seriously and not constantly delivering my insulin. But I have heard good things about this pump.
