    Falling apart.....

    Do you ever feel like you are falling apart although at 53 it's probably old age started to creep on? It started with my cells attacking my own body and a problem in shall we say one's private bits! Then bad carpel tunnel in my left hand but fortunately a cortisone injection did the trick...

    Gliclazide.....

    Well the Metformin may not make amy difference but Gluclazide definitely does. I am still avoiding carbs but i have never had such low bg readings. Is still too high first (12.6 today) thing but two hours after breakfast which today was a cheese and ham omlette was 6. Yestetday 7.3 and friday...

    The power of exercise....

    Still high fasting reading of 14.1. Had my scrambled egg and two hours later 12.6 so had dropped a tad. Had a protein roll and cheese for lunch and chucked my bike in the car. After i had my blood test done spent an hour cycling around Orsett (first exercise for two weeks due to illness)...

    Healthy Fat

    I am replacing the carbs with fat and probably eating far too many eggs and cheese. Can anyone tell me what are the best fat foods to eat. I am also snacking in nuts and have single cream in coffee and on my berries. Thank you x

    Protein

    As i understand it protein can raise blood sugar but not as much as carbs. Obviously everyone is diffetent but does anyone have any idea how much less this is than carbs??

    Hey off to the docs i go.......

    Diagnosed 2 years ago at 22.6 (wasn't overweight) and after cutting out a lot of carbs did get it down....still not brilliant....was between 8 and 12 two hours after meals. GP happy with that after it being so high. Will admit to lapsing a bit after changing jobs....too many goodies and too...

    Type 2.....ideas would be appreciated

    Hi, i am type 2 and know what foods to avoid but am struggling to get variety into my diet and as a result am finding it hard to keep my glucose level down particularly when at work. I have salad for lunch, but tend to find i am hungry a lot ( get lots of headaches) and graze all day often...
