1 year after diagnosis I'm back on track!

Still taking the Metformin and it's been tough, very tough at times. And apart from a 2 month blip of self indulgence and comfort eating (take aways) after a knee injury I'm back on track and cooking properly again. Had my appointment with diabetes nurse. Very surprised to find that my HbA1c...

Blood Sugar 4.1 And Feeling Rough.

I've had a cup of tea and a biscuit and feel slightly better. (I don't eat biscuits regularly these days). Still feeling rough though, so I'm giving training a miss tonight, it wouldn't do me any good putting the goalkeeping kit on in this weather! Maybe next week :-)

Blood Sugar 4.1 And Feeling Rough.

I've spent all day looking forward to hockey training tonight. Just got home from work and stared to feel sick and a bit dizzy. Had a shower and felt worse, felt sick and sleepy. I've checked my bloods and it's 4.1 and it's never been that low. Is this normal with the hot weather and diabetes...

    Depression and diabetes nightmare

Natalie1974 I hope you are feeling better soon and I know being positive can be extremely difficult. It's understandable that you feel low and tired having put other people's issues first, and you've put yourself to the back of the queue. Its time to pamper yourself and put yourself first and...
