    Re: Leg cramps make sure you drink plenty of water through the day and i take a magnesium tablet every day, still get the odd cramp but seems to be when i may be slightly dehydrated.

    Others who dont suffer do not understand our need - once you have it regulated you will know how you feel and not have to test quite as much but meanwhile, i say test test test, take notes. We all need to be kept on the straight and narrow!!

    The cholesterol level isnt as important as your LDL/HDL ratio which should be less than 3! And low triglycerides!!

    similar to Andy apart from breakfast - mostly one slice burgen soya and linseed toast, rasher bacon, boiled egg ( or small amount of porridge made with water and add a spoon of cream! Lunch - 2Finn crisp crackers, salad and sardines, pilchards, cheese and mayonnaise. Evening - very small jacket...

    Thanks for the link MCMLXIII - i dont really know what to do now having been on lo-salt for so many years - although i do not use a lot when i think about it. My blood sugar levels were great at my last Ha1bc but my liver readings werent so now im thinking of eating to improve my liver -reading...
