    YpsoPump problems

Yes having the same problem. I contacted Ypsomed and had to log a ticket. It is now over a week and they still haven’t got back to me. Originally you could just speak to a person and they would answer my questions. I am not sure what Ypsomed are doing but it certainly is not good currently.

    Ypsomed my life insulin pump

I have been using the Ypsomed pump now for a year and it’s a super little pump. Easy to use and operate. The only down side recently has been that I use an I-phone and the I-cloud connectivity isn’t always working but on a a day to day basis its the best pump I have used so far.

    Dexacon

Well for what its worth, I have changed from Libre to Dexcom One and it’s absolutely fab. I don’t have to worry about the sensor falling off and despite not being successful with it using an I-phone I do have a reader and its so perfect. However, I hope you find true Dexcom no matter what you...

    Closed Loop System

Hi. I’ve been as diabetic for over 60 years so as you can imagine had various forms of insulin treatment. My question is that I understand that I can self fund a closed loop system. The NHS fund my pump but I seem to hit a bit of a stumbling blog when asked does this closed loop system work with...

    I-phone Dexcom 1

Up date on I-phone and Dexcom readings. Just in case this helps anyone, I contacted Dexcom support who suggested that I change the high and low settings and tone and restart the phone. Too early to say if it worked.

    I-phone Dexcom 1

Just moved from Libre 2 to Dexcom 1. All great as no scanning. However all alarms set for high and low but not working. Contacted Dexcom who intimated that android works better than IOS. Has anyone else had same issues?

    Ypsopump

I have now been using the pump since August 2022 and also now on the remote blousing app. The only thing I would say is that I use the combination bolus feature and find it a little irritating that I have to tap it twice in order that the app understands what I want. I am now out and about and...

    Ypsomed Pump

Hi I hope this helps. I have just been put on the Ypso pump following several issues on my previous pump, not Ypso I hasten to add. The pump is small and the reason I wished to be transferred to this was the fact that the bolus should be delivered remotely via the app very shortly. This has...

    Ypsopump

Hopefully the following will be useful. I am now armed with the Ypsopump and it is 2 way Bluetooth but at the moment the app is not fully functional. I test using the Ypso blood sugar meter and it seems to transfer to my phone. However, I understand that the good thing about this pump is that...

    Ypsopump

I, like many people, have been using the Insight pump for 3 years now and quite frankly it hasn’t met my expectations. However, I have been offered the Ypsopump and I wanted a pump where I can use remotely, I.e. a bit like the old Combo pump used to work. I have heard that you can operate the...

Type 1 Is There Any Insulin Pump that can be Controlled via Bluetooth

Hi, hope this makes sense. I moved from the Accuchek combo that I operated via Bluetooth to an Insight pump which certainly is not Bluetooth. As I use multiwave all the time to control my diabetes, I am eager to know if there are any insulin pumps available that can be operated fully via Bluetooth

    My Sugr app/Accu-Chek mobile

I agree. I’ve managed to get the Accuchek Mobile testing meter amend it is so much better. It syncs every single time, therefore no need to link that add on to the Sgr App and all in all it is totally reliable.

    My Sugr app/Accu-Chek mobile

Yes found the Accuchek Mobile add on to be a total waste of time. I have forgotten how many times I replaced batteries and asked for Roche to replace the Bluetooth device. However, have now obtained a Accuchek Instant meter and it is so much better and works every single time. Only a personal...

    No more Combo or Insight!

Have to say that disappointed Combo which I have to say I found fantastic moved over to Insight nobly because of the potential that hasn’t come to fruition.

Libre 2 setting alarms at night

I use an I-phone and literally turn off volume and to be fair I do hear the vibration but like yourself do get annoyed when the alarm goes off for the slightest fluctuation in blood glucose levels is annoying but just think of the consequences?

Talk to me about your smart watch

My I-phone watch always notifies me of both high and low glucose and he excellent thing is that there is not any noise just a vibration. I hope this helps

    A simple pump mistake - a rush to A&E

Probably not the same but just for information. I currently use the Roche Insight pump and a few weeks ago went to change the insulin cartridge and wondered why it was taking so long only to find that the cartridge was actually empty. No its not a senior moment as I had both the old and new...

    Libre 2 alarms

Hi. I use an I-Phone 11 withe app and with the sound turned on it certainly makes a loud noise when going high or low. It does repeat again until I use the app to check. I hope this helps

Handset for Accu check Insight pump discontinued

Hi. I've just moved from Combo to Sight pump with the wireless connector and using the mySugr app. The wireless adapter initially didn't work but apparently that was due flat battery and I have reported this to Roche. The app is actually quite good. Apparently the way it should work is that...
