    What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

    Thank you. I am ok. Struggling with side effects of sugars this high. Am on steroids at the moment which doesn’t help and just been in a hospital for a week where they started me on insulin. I am hoping once well I will see an improvement in numbers

    Hi yes I have, recently started on insulin. Hospital team are calling me daily. Am also on steroids at the moment which increases sugars also

    Thanks BS always done with clean hands and has been in 20s and 30s again today. I am also on steroids at the moment so I know that can effect it also. Am also taking dapagliflozen. Nurse is checking in daily and keeping a close eye on things.

    Hi I have been in hospital the last couple of weeks with breathing problems. Whilst there my blood sugars worsened, and I have been regularly getting numbers in the 20s and 30s I am now using insulin 20 units twice a day. Is it normal to get an achy tummy and headaches? Thank you

    Thank you. I had just had A1C of 109 and gone low carb in the last few weeks and was seeing change on numbers. Now I am back on long term steroids. Am type 2. I need to make sure I get to that consultant. Have just changed wards which doesn’t help but nurse is on it
