    how high and how low have you been?

    My highest was 27 post hospital when I was ill with a fever and using insulin but I expect it was much higher when first diagnosed. The lowest i've seen on my meter was 2.7 a couple of years ago.

    I expect extra clinics and having to draft in extra staff and GP's on their days off will become commonplace as budgets are squeezed and more people are diagnosed with Diabetes.

    Are we talking about a particular brand? I almost bought dreamfields pasta last year before checking out reviews from other diabetics. I have seen another brand called"Eat Water" but no others. I'd love a noodle stir fry :)

    I can't offer any advice from personal experience but do you think she enjoys the attention she receives from you ? I know it sounds very moderm but it could be a cry for help. Is the father still around? Or his family? It sounds like you need a break and outside help rather than being blamed...

    Good question. I know illness and conditions put people off , especially around my age, but the right person should accept you. I wouldn't tell the person straight away but if feelings grow you have to open up because it's part of your life.
