    Freestyle Libre 2 plus

Fitted my first one today for start up tomorrow. It's ment to be more precise than the 2. It still works with Juggluco. So hopefully it'll be as good or better than 2. As my sensor has been a godsend 3 years in.

    Newly diagnosed and totally overwhelmed

If it's not been mentioned so far. Hydration, exercise and a sensor are key. You can lead almost a normal life. I'm a postman who works full time. Walks on average 8 miles a day. I also don't eat that differently to what i did before diabetes. I'm just over 3 years in. YouTube is a great source...

    Libre 2 upgrade!

Noticed on freestylelibre.co.uk the Libre 2 is being discontinued in the UK. I suggest you contact your doctor/dsn to upgrade you to the libre 2 plus. As this doesn't happen automatically. Also your pharmacist can only give you what is actually on the prescription.

Why don't you try Juggluco? Works with a watch too

Im stupid. Scared to increase basal though I obviously need it.

The only person who can make the change is you. The disease is all an experiment. I mean it's different for everything. Person, food, weather etc. I'm always changing mine. Slow and steady. I adjust by one unit. Wait 48hrs then change again. My last change of increasing. Resulted in a week of...

Libre seriously out compared to BG

Hydration is key. I personally wouldn't have changed my basal. But I do spend 10 hrs a day sugar surfing at work. Unless you're battling to put on weight or breastfeeding. Eating without insulin is ok. You just exercise to keep in range. But then again I could just be lucky as it's different for...

Why do my sugars rise overnight

Is it possible to have your cooked (main meal) at lunchtime. Then have a sandwich for your evening meal. As the whole disease is an experiment. How about adjusting your bolus each time you have that meal by a unit. Don't over do it worst case you have to eat more. I'm someone who trys to do as...

    NHS artificial pancreas roll out.

Spot on. No separate basal anymore. Pumps can administer such small doses of fast acting. Which means not so long a wait when changing basal rates.

    Cholesterol Level Up

At my Doctors check. I too got offered Statin's. Glad I said no. My consultant said last week. They're reading the results wrong. You're bad cholesterol is slightly high. Probably due to being type 1. However your good cholesterol is higher than a normal person. Which cancels it out. Hope this...

    Constant Freestyle L2 failures

If you're a Android user? I'd suggest using Juggluco. Hardly ever have any dramas. Now other than using librelink to start a sensor. With Juggluco you don't have to scan to upload data to Libreview. It does it automatically anytime you open the app. Value is shown on a smartwatch if setup. Talks...

New phone - NFC won't scan L2 sensor

You still need to start up sensor via NFC. No other way.

    NHS artificial pancreas roll out.

All t1d in the uk will be offered HCL in the fullness of time. Just like Libre etc. There has to be a start point. Good things come to those who wait.

    Medical Exemption - Prescriptions Charge

I became a type one diabetic in November 2021. Nobody told me either. I ended up like you. Once I applied they made the fine £9 something like one prescription.

    Juggluco

I've been using it since December 2022. It just keeps getting better. I have a whole thread about it. Remember on each section there is a help button that explains everything in that section. The developer is responsive to emails too. Updated regularly. I use bugjagger or easy fire tools to port...

Juggluco on Android. Who needs Libre3

Who knows? There's a Dexcom One+ coming. Presumably looks like G7. But less functionality

FreeStyle Libre2 readings on a Andriod Smart Watch

Juggluco is the easiest. I've posted before on here if you search the forum. I have s23 ultra and watch 5 Pro works a dream. Updated every minute. Also data sent to Libreview for your DSN

    Confused with Basal insulin

I'm on Abasaglar once every 24hrs. Basically basal insulin as I understand it. Is to counter the glucagon your liver produces. I try to be above 7. But below 10 when hitting the hay. I find having my levels drop through the night no lower than 5 are best. I'm an active person. But also not...

    Freestyle2

I would suggest the on/off of the phone if this hasn't been done. Good to get in the habit of doing this once a week.
