    Same food, different reaction?

I've noticed that I can eat the exact same thing before noon and in the later afternoon/evening. And it always causes a greater spike in the morning or before noon. Is this actually a common thing?

Prediabetes Is there a way to calculate average blood glucose from my meter readings?

It shows the last 14 day average. Basically I have 2 questions about this. 1)Can this number somehow "predict" how my next HbA1c is going to look like? and 2) If I want to calculate my average fasting, or average post meal numbers, would it make any sense to write this numbers separately and...

Annoying symptom - What can I do about this?

I'm literally so tired of going to the bathroom so often. Today I also drank a lot of sparkling water because I'm just craving it (not "normal" tap water but it has to be sparkling and ice cold out of the fridge). I also crave Coke Zero but I try to limit it to one can a day. Didn't do anything...

    Pizza night!

This weekend I'm invited to an Italian restaurant. They only serve pizzas and pastas. I'm not a fan of pasta so I might as well get a pizza. I very rarely eat at restaurants and maybe once a month I would get something like pizza or fast food. A bit of background: Recently been diagnosed as...

    Newly diagnosed and confused

Hello. I've been recently diagnosed with prediabetes. I've been checking my fasting blood glucose levels in the last few days and honestly, I'm scared because While at some days the levels are in the prediabetic range (above 6mmol/l but not higher than 7), I'm getting some very bad readings as...
