Hi, I'm testing my pumps basal rates and need to make some changes. The question is how long before the rise / fall in BG do I apply the change. The advice I've seen varies between 1 hour to 4 hours or longer. What lead time do you use? THANKS

Hi, My pump has stopped talking to the handset. I've tried to pair the devices several times including deleting the original paring, but no joy. The hand set searches for a few seconds and then says "No devices found". Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I'm missing here? Thanks.

Has anyone else had problems with the introducer needle not fully extending when loaded into the Link Assist Plus insertion device. I have wasted 3 cannulas due to this problem. Is there some trick I'm missing?

I have just switched over to the insight pump from the Combo. Previously I used the novo rapid pen fills to fill the pump cartridge and in my pen for emergencies. I am now using the pre filled carts which of course won't fit my pen. My options now seem to be to order both the Insight carts...

I am currently using the Accu-Chek Spirit Combo pump and am going to be upgraded to the Insight. Has anyone else done this and if so what can I expect in terms the differences - good or bad. Any comments generally regarding the Insight pump & its infusion sets etc would be helpful. Thanks.

I am using the Accu-Chek Combo and have always used the Bolus Advice settings given to me when I was given the pump. These are: Acting Time 4 hours, Onset time 1 hour. Having looked at the profile for NovoRapid it seems these may not be correct. I'd be interested to know what settings do...
