    liver dump

Having a snack before bedtime helps with this. From dinner at 6.00pm to breakfast at 6.00am is too long for me. My liver pumps out glucose about 3.00am coz it thinks I am starving. Then at breakfast my BG is high. Some crackers about 10.00pm has sorted this out.

    Thirsty and sensation to urinate.

I am 64, type 2 for 18 months and BG well under control and on no meds. I have lost over a stone in weight since modifying my diet but I have never been over weight. Now I am thirsty but always feel like I need the loo, cystitis like sensation. Is this the diabetes do you think?

Has anyone tried Vida or MyFitnessPal?

I use My Fitness Pal. For me it's the best way to monitor what I eat. You can even make your own meals using this app eg make a sandwich and look up the bread, spread, meat etc to have a total calories etc for what you have made. Have lost a stone and a half in a year gradually.
