We met the 7.00 pm deadline comfortably on Tuesday evening and I still feel pleasantly full at well past my bedtime.
Good night all.
Good night all.
How did you get on and are you still not eating after 7pm? I really need to get on board with this!Who will join me?
I intend to do this for the rest of January- 10 days and hopefully I’ll have broken the habit by then and carry on.
I‘m not hungry, I suspect I’m bored and it’s becoming a habit. So I thought if there were a few of us that struggle with this it would be good to record our successes and make suggestions on how we coped.
@LivingLightly?
Hi welcome @Sable_Wolf yes stuck to it most of the time. I’ve gone over the 7pm deadline a few times with the main meal but it’s definitely stopped the snacking.How did you get on and are you still not eating after 7pm? I really need to get on board with this!
I am a night Owl too usually finish my evening meal by 7 then most of the time I am not hungry until lunchtime the next day.I honestly believe, if you are a night owl, then four hours before bed is just as good.
Try having a slightly larger more filling meal, then mentally stop! Close the kitchen, get rid of snacks so there's no temptation.How did you get on and are you still not eating after 7pm? I really need to get on board with this!
Yes, a delay of up to 20 minutes @MrsA2 .18:15 tonight.
As a point of interest, does any else experience a delay in feeling full? I'm only just starting to feel so now, nearly an hour after eating. In fact I'm feeling so full I shouldn't have eaten so much and wish I'd known so earlier
