I tried 7pm cut off. Ended up with very low count upon waking in the morning plus hypo . Now back to a snack at 8.30pm, and back to normal numbers.I do the 7pm cut off time.
The reason is simple.
If I have something that causes the trigger for high blood glucose levels, then the hypo. It is within a four hour period, since eating. I'm usually in my pit around 11pm (ish).
So I know I'm not going to hypo.
It works for me.
That sounds a much more sensible approach for a type 1.I tried 7pm cut off. Ended up with very low count upon waking in the morning plus hypo . Now back to a snack at 8.30pm, and back to normal numbers.
I've got a knitting project started.I find that doing something like crochet in the evening keeps my mind away from foodHobbies and interests are great for occupying the mind and as well as keeping me away from the food, it gives me a positive mindset - a win, win!
