2nd Reading 3. 0
Could the 2nd one be wrong

Do the test strip go out off date?

Your readings are meaningless without stating when they were taken in relation to the food. The reading of 3 was obviously unexpected, did you recheck it?

Strips do have an expiry date which will be marked on the pot, then aside from that date, they shouldn’t be used after a certain length of time from opening, that too will be written on the box or the pot.

1st reading 1030 when I had the porridge second reading was at 1230.

The 12.30 reading could have been wrong, or it may not have been. If there's a reading that is unexpected, it's always best to wash your hands and retest, bearing in mind meters only have to be accurate to +/- 15%.

Just got the tester so need to get more test strips. I had some trouble with the second test.
Do every body retest their meter with
testing solution .

Not all of us have to. My meter (not a Go Navii) is nearly 5yrs old and has yet to show any unexpected result when used with within date test strips for that model of meter.
I have seen some values which I was not sure about, but a 2nd test - re-wash hands, new blood drop new test strip, has always been close to the same reading.
