2014/15 Football Season

A good game and a good result for City, but a couple of bad refereeing decisions, City's first penalty and Spurs' penalty both iffy, plus questions of Lampard being in an offside position for Aguero's first goal.

A strange game in some ways with Hart being one of City's best players, made same very important saves not least the penalty, in a game in which City could have scored double figures given the number of chances they created.

Until a couple of years ago Tottenham were one of our voodoo teams, we always seemed to lose against them. Last two or three years things seem to have turned around reflecting City's newfound status since the petrodollars started rolling in.

The much talked about match has to be the 8-0 at Southampton.What can we say about that newly promoted Saints hammered Sunderland.Long time since anyone scored that many goals.
 
Well my son and husband went to a local derby.....Bristol Rovers v Forest Green ...Yay 3 points 0-1 ! I wish I had gone with them now.

Well I've written about one of my teams, I won't hog space by talking about another one!:rolleyes:

What can I say! Rovers lost again, 6 on the trot, new manager didn't work, beat by next to bottom! Good job pool lost or we would be adrift by more than one win! Sad times!

For the first time for many years I feel like going down the local and getting ****** out of my head!
Ive not had a pint 7 christmass's ago, but after all the battles for me and the wife and family things. Now my pleasure for sport has taken a serious jolt. Am really hacked off!
I will have to get my head together for the kids tomorrow!
Hope I sleep!

Gonna put the kettle on and take the dog for a walk and wake up from this nightmare!

Sorry about the rant, no one to have a go at! The wife ignored me when I tried to talk about footie, had to get it off my chest!

I know jack about RH mate, but is a few pints going to cause problems with your levels? I drink cider and it doesn't affect my BG either way. Obviously if you've had 'problems' with alcohol in the past ignore me!

West Ham get me like that too, I was like a bear with a sore head last season, we're having a good season so far but that's not so much to do with BFS, and more with the board demanding good football. BFS didn't want Sakho at the club but the Dave's went and bought him anyway, absolute bargain at £2m, 6 goals in 6 games... I think it's a lot to do with Teddy Sheringham as the attacking coach too.

How the hell can you drink cider! Yuk!
:eek: Never a big drinker, more a social one, when playing darts, etc.could never manage more than 3 pints or I might as well stood by the urinal and too merry too quickly!
Hammers doing ok! Can they keep it going! Soton flying!

We have been offline with the internet from sky till last night. I will also have a look at the settings. I've private conversations before. I ain't changed nowt. Bloody technical stuff. Never had computers in school! Ranting again! Marvellous things these new apple things. Kindle etc. I'm creeping now
