2014/15 Football Season

Irrespective of whether or not he has personally been involved in accepting bribes, it's now clear that Blatter has presided over years of unfettered corruption. If he had any sense of shame, or any sense of honour, he would accept that he bears ultimate responsibility for what has happened and resign. But he hasn't. So he won't.:mad::mad:

Yes agree, all this has happened on his watch , and to say that he can not monitor everyone, Bur ultimately he the man in charged and should know what going on within the organization, he got to go

Under UK law, it is an offence for organisations to fail to prevent bribery, and responsibility rests with the top tier of management. Unfortunately, I don't think they will be applied in this case although it's clear that the US is using the provisions of the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) to try and ensure that people face trial under their jurisdiction for offences linked to the US - which the UK Bribery Act also allows for.

I'd love to see Sepp picking up the soap in the showers for Bubba in a US Correctional facility, but he's a slippery customer (possibly an unfortunate choice of phrase in the context ;)) and I suspect he will evade justice.

Well yesterday was a great day out! 4-0! :D Amazing. Loved every minute of it. :) And the free scarves were nice too.
