2016/17 Football Season

Tranmere top of the league!

We won 1-0! And it was a late one (again!)
We played well first half but no finish!
Scored when we looked as though it wasn't going to happen!
Might have been an oggie! But who cares?

Scores went for us in all the other games.

Not bad results today for our teams, Macclesfield away New Year's Day, similar score again please!

Or possibly even tomorrow night :) I really do lose touch with what day of the week it is, over Christmas and New Year.... :eek:

Good Luck to all those playing tonight and tomorrow and in Noshers case its Sunday. :) We are home to Blackburn rovers tomorrow lunch time. Beat em earlier this month so do the double eh UTT.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and are you all ready for the new year. New year new beginnings for all our clubs. :D

We're away at Notts County tomorrow afternoon

Now we played them away the last match of last season and won 5-0

Come on lads same again please
 
3 points it keeps us up there, that's half way through the season and 4 points from 2 away fixtures is welcome

Grimsby next at home on Monday. I'm not going still a bit chesty and don't want to risk it, so it's a date with Radio Cumbria
 
We at Wigan tomorrow afternoon. Should beat them but there again look at us Yesterday. Its the Transfer window soon so i think we need to dip in it and get a new player or two.
Saturday we take on Portvale in the FA cup. As usual we will get knocked out.Which would be no bad thing we need to concentrate our efforts on maintaining a good finish to the season.Can't see us getting promotion but you never know in the world of football. :D
