2016/17 Football Season

Nah! Had a rest last week!
We played South Park (don't laugh!) in the FA Trophy!
We cruised it 4-1. The best goal was the free kick they scored from outside the box.
They certainly gave us a game!
Back to league action next week!
My god it was cold,
Hope everyone had a good weekend despite the footie!

True - but somehow that doesn't make things feel any better :D

I know it's only a short run of poor results, but I'm starting to feel a bit nervous about this season - we really don't want to be lurking in the lower reaches of the Premiership. We're now well and truly into the transfer window and we don't want our best players to think of moving on because they're in an uninspiring team.

Also, I'm not amused by Jose Fonte's attitude at the moment - he's supposed to be the captain for God's sake and it doesn't set a good example to other players if he's moaning about wanting to go, and not putting 100% into playing for Saints in the mean time. Bunch of over-paid, mercenary prima donnas; grrrrr...............:mad:

They agreed and get paid a lot of money for their contracts!

I blame the weather!

Hmm; Saints are through in the FA cup after winning the replay against Norwich in injury time. I didn't see the match but as the BBC Sport Website described it as "dire" I don't think I missed much :(

They're definitely not firing on all cylinders at the moment.

Oh don't worry, I am sure they will be play brilliantly in the next round and get through easily :rolleyes:
 
Good Luck today everyone. Hope you all get a win. We are at home to the Tractor Boys and after last weeks performance we need to get 3 points. Sheff Weds lost last night and stay 1 point behind us. UTT
 
Leicester tomorrow, Liverpoo (EFL Cup) next Wednesday, The **** (FA Cup) next Saturday, Swansea a week on Tuesday and then Wet Spam (presumably including Fonte, who has signed to them, grrrrr) on the following Saturday. Doesn't leave much time for recovery in between times :eek:

Saturday off!
Gonna be playing three times a week for most of the season! Starting next Saturday!
Dunno what I'm gonna do today!
Hate it when no footie for us, nearly as bad as summer!
Lincoln won well last night and five points clear, think, if we finish above them, we will win the league!
Good job there is the play offs!

Hope all our teams do well this weekend!

I'm not going to the FA cup game. I am sending my son instead. :)
