2016/17 Football Season

I hope they have a good day (though not that good a day :p). Putting partisan feelings aside, I do feel that St Mary's has a great atmosphere and most visitors enjoy themselves there unless, erm, they're from about 20 miles to the east of us

A nice 0-4 win to us sees us in the draw for 5th round. Anyone know when its being made as I can't see any listings in TV guide.

Spurs had a scare and nearly joined Liverpool in the sin bin They grabbed a late winner.

Draw for Carlisle better than losing.
Oh dear Tranmere :(

Poor old Liverpoo. Binned from both Domestic cup competitions in the course of a few days.

<Snigger> :D

Sorry about Tranmere :(

Yes I will be hiding under the duvet all day tomorrow just in case ...:nailbiting:

FGR won, but I don't suppose @Lamont D wants to hear that. ;)

One of those days when the team you are playing are better than you!
The daggers were very good! I'd be happy to get in the playoffs!
Out thought, out fought and out scored!
Ho hum!

Another good win for the udders!
Another point for the cumbrians!
No game for saints?

The cup eh?
There is always surprises!
The best is when every pundit is certain that a team can't get beat and they do!

@jay hay-char I didn't expect that, sorry :sorry: If Soton had been playing any team except Arsenal, Leeds or FGR then my family would have been wanting them to win. For what it's worth my family said that Saints played really well, at least as well as when they have beaten Arsenal in the past, but for once, Arsenal were at their best.

I am seriously thinking of giving my ticket to my son again next week...for the Chelsea game. ;)

No worries; I wasn't expecting it to be that bad - going out 2-1 or some such would have been OK - but these things happen.

In a way it's probably for the best: I don't think Saints really have the depth of resources to run two cup campaigns and get a decent finish in the League, but it would still be nice to thrash Man Ure at Wembley :D

2 weeks running we have played against 10 men a total of 126 minutes and in both games we take the lead and then concede when the opposition are down to 10 men

Do you think the wheels have come off your chances of promotion?
A lot of our fans would be happy to be in a play off position after yesterday's performance!

Yes I was hoping for a 2-1 win yesterday that would have done nicely . Yes pleeeeeeeeeease thrash ManU at Wembley :D

Sutton are leading 1-0 bit of a shock to Zand.

Meanwhile Millwall have knocked Watford out and Fulham have knocked Hull out. 2 more prem teams gone. Wonder if Wigan can add Man Utd to that list. I hope so :D

Sutton United have just knocked Leeds out. Leeds had a man sent off. By the sounds of it Sutton were well deserved winners. Must be some sort of record that a non league side getting so far in the FA cup.
