They put us out in R2
Totally outplayed us to be honest
Well my family are there and parked in Portswood having a meal right now. I'm glad I decided to stay home. I saw enough of Portswood when my son was at Soton uni. I've just watched the MOTD2 clip of the Burnley match on iplayer
A nice 0-4 win to us sees us in the draw for 5th round. Anyone know when its being made as I can't see any listings in TV guide.
Spurs had a scare and nearly joined Liverpool in the sin bin They grabbed a late winner.
Draw for Carlisle better than losing.
Oh dear Tranmere![]()
Yes I will be hiding under the duvet all day tomorrow just in case ...Your turn tomorrow Zand. Sutton v Leeds might be another upset on the cards
Oh and Sunday 5th February the big Yorkshire derby we beat you in September at yours so looking to do the double. UTT![]()

No worries; I wasn't expecting it to be that bad - going out 2-1 or some such would have been OK - but these things happen.@jay hay-char I didn't expect that, sorryIf Soton had been playing any team except Arsenal, Leeds or FGR then my family would have been wanting them to win. For what it's worth my family said that Saints played really well, at least as well as when they have beaten Arsenal in the past, but for once, Arsenal were at their best.
I am seriously thinking of giving my ticket to my son again next week...for the Chelsea game.![]()
2 weeks running we have played against 10 men a total of 126 minutes and in both games we take the lead and then concede when the opposition are down to 10 men
Yes I was hoping for a 2-1 win yesterday that would have done nicely . Yes pleeeeeeeeeease thrash ManU at WembleyNo worries; I wasn't expecting it to be that bad - going out 2-1 or some such would have been OK - but these things happen.
In a way it's probably for the best: I don't think Saints really have the depth of resources to run two cup campaigns and get a decent finish in the League, but it would still be nice to thrash Man Ure at Wembley![]()
