2016/17 Football Season

Just in from our very impressive second half performance against Vauxhall motors.
1-0 up at half time, deserved to be more, but an Andy Cook hat trick, plus a solo goal by Adam Mekki to leave with a 5-0 smashing!
Could and should have been a lot more!

Getting excited now!

Gonna smash noblot (Bolton) on Tuesday.
It's a very special night for one of our legends, Warwick Rimmer.
The club is having a well deserved testimonial and an old boy game before the main match. The teams will be made up of former players who made it through the ranks and were coached by Warwick. He is a legend!

Well, I hope we all have a rewarding and enjoyable domestic season, because with Big Fat Sam as England Manager, we're sure as Hell not going to have much to enjoy on the International front.....:eek::D:D:D

Ooops we just lost 0-2 to Liverpool. It was a good performance by Town though they really went for it. Good job only a friendly game. only 2 weeks to the new season UTT

Pre season friendly v Bolton, we lost 2-1.
We played well again, but we couldn't build on the first goal lead.
They scored with there only two shots on target.
But pleased with performance!

As for fat Sam, his nickname!
Not my choice, with the quality of player we have, I was hoping for an attack minded coach. He may well shore up the defence, but I doubt his man management of the divas, will tell against the big countries.
Hope I'm wrong!

Just back from sunny Cheshire and a win against northwich Victoria. 2-0 win!

Things settling well now, we have played better!

Next up, Tuesday, Blackpool at Prenton Park.

Hi guys and gals.
Not a football fan, it's rugby all the way for me BUT I do live in Leicester so I guess I can view the thread on account we are the champions. Whoever you support good luck for the new season. Miracles do happen. JUST not very often.

A.F.C Fylde tomorrow, our last pre season friendly.
Then Bromley in the first league game.
Going to smash em all!

Got to get back in the league!
