2017/2018 Football Season

Which is it?
Has he been poached?
Or
Has the club got someone else already to fill the position?

Must be either because this is the way they do things!

Wouldn’t surprise me if the club are poaching someone

Last time they did it was when they poached John Ward from Cheltenham and he was a disaster

Home to Everton a draw would be good and a win would be a massive leap to our safety. Wishful thinking I know but I didn't expect us to beat Watford last week so you never know with the Town. I think we'll all be pinning our hopes on Klopps mob beating Stoke this lunch time that would get Stoke off our backs and then I think though I hate to say it @jay hay-char but Town fans will be joyful if it comes over the tannoy that Eddie Howes mob have beaten the Saints. Then we also need Chelsea to beat Swansea and keep them behind us for the sake of Saints push to escape. It could all be settled by teatime next Saturday. Lets hold on tight its going to be a bumpy ride.

Good luck to everyone else. Hope you all get a win :)

Oh dear its finished 0-0 and gives Stoke a valuable point. Suddenly there's a glimmer of hope for them. I don't think though that they pose any threat to Town as Stoke only have 2 games left and are 5 points behind us. Swansea can end that though if they beat Chelsea its bye bye Stoke. It would then be between the Saints and us for that last relegation spot. Getting scary now. :nailbiting:

That's it its all over we lost 0-2 :( Well done Saints a deserved 2-1 win. Its really hotting up now Town 35 points, Saints 32, Swans 33 and still to play at 5:30pm. Its going to the wire now and to be honest I can see Saints nicking it from us as we have City, Chelski and Arsenal to come. Saints have Everton, Swansea and City to come. They can quite easily draw with Everton and beat Swansea. 1 win is always they need really cos I cannot see us getting anything from the last 3. I'm starting to think we may be back to the Yorkshire derbies next season short of a miracle.:(

Sorry about that, mate. Still a mountain for us to climb but I guess we have scaled the foothills. Still all to play for - and for the Terriers as well. Personally I'd rather see the Swans go down......

Chelski have beaten Swansea 1-0, though by all accounts it was a pretty dismal game. This means that West Brom are still not relegated, though they're hanging by a thread, and the Swans are a point above us. Depending on how we do against Everton, our fixture with them could be a real nail-biter
