Oh dear that's not good. Hope everything goes ok for you and the medical staff get you sorted.
 
We play host to Arsenal this afternoon. The last time we played them at home it was Arsene Wenger's final game in charge and we lost 0-1. It didn't matter then cos we'd already got safe after 2 unexpected draws with City and Chelski. . Sadly we are far from safe now and planning for a life in the Championship . Oh Hum lets see how many they put past us today.

Hmmm now rumours are linking David Wagner to Newcastle should Rafa Benitez go. Wonder where else the press will say he may go If he did go to Newcastle he'd be in the same predicament cos Mike Ashley is another Dean Hoyle and wont part with his brass. I some how don't think Wagner would wanna go through that again.
 
And we lost again but managed to score a goal so 1-2 No game next week as its the FA Cup so Newcastle is our next stop on 23rd.
Bad luck to Saints lost 1-2 to Cardiff lets hope Burnley lose this evening and stay in 3rd relegation spot.

Classic Saints (again) throwing the game away in the 93rd minute. Grrrrr.....
 
Southampton plan to ban two supporters who taunted Cardiff City fans about the death of striker Emiliano Sala.

The 28-year-old Argentine died in a plane crash almost three weeks ago, with his body found on Thursday.

Two Saints fans were pictured making aeroplane gestures during their side's 2-1 home defeat by the Bluebirds and were spoken to by Hampshire Police.

"Such behaviour has no place in our game and will not be tolerated at St Mary's," a club statement read.

"Southampton Football Club can confirm that two fans were detained and had their details taken by police during our match against Cardiff City on Saturday.

"The club will continue to work with Hampshire Police to identify any individuals deemed to have made indecent gestures towards Cardiff supporters.


Disgraceful they should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they get fined.
 
After seeing us on MOTD last night we didn't play too badly but Arsenals first goal was too easy really and the 2nd was a breeze. Our goal was scored by an Arsenal player so in reality we still haven't scored for a long while. Jan Seiwert was confident we'll battle on till the bitter end which could help us cause some problems for other teams but it wont be enough to save us. Started keeping an eye on the Championship now and there's quite a battle going on for the 2 automatic places in the Prem. Sheff Utd were unlucky on Friday night they were 3-0 up and Villa pulled 3 back to deny Utd the top spot. Gripping stuff.
 
Another defeat!

One win in twenty one and still the manager isn’t sacked!. Incredible...or not, how poor we were yesterday. Sooner we are relegated the better!

You'd have thought they would have sacked the manager by now. Sumat wrong somewhere.

Yeah I think it’s because the owner is trying to sell so doesn’t see any point in sacking a bloke that the new owners will probably sack themselves.

I think it’s called passing the buck.

Comfortable win yesterday!
Puts us within touching distance of the playoffs.
If we are to be playoffs contenders, we need the kind of consistency and performance levels that we had yesterday.

Two away games at Cambridge Saturday, then the rearranged match at Port Vale the Tuesday night.
