2022/23 Football Season.

Another weekend of footy. Our lads travel to Sheffield United tomorrow afternoon. England play France tomorrow night. That will be a tough game for England and our lads will have a tough one at Sheffield. We really need to get our act together now. Hopefully in the January transfer window we could get some more players to help get us out of danger.
Good luck to all our teams this weekend. Hope they win.
 
Quite fancy England, they have the squad, not completely sold on the manager and goalie as to how they respond to reverses. Goalie way too emotional for that position.
Should be interesting.

Glad Croatia did the pens again. Brazil have some players but their attitude, just a nightmare.
Where as I quite like Argentina, great strip and hard as nails.
 
Got beat again, down to 15th now.
Good thing that there a white a few teams having a much worse season than us!G

Even our goal was a miskick clearance by the Grimsby keeper, that hit our player and fluked in!liked

Home to Crawley next Saturday, unless we are snowed in!

And Englands dream comes crashing down. Harry Kane must be absolutly gutted. All I can say is they played well but the better team won and better luck in 2024 Euro's and World cup 2026.
 
Our game was called off this morning, frozen concrete with a green, then mostly white on top.
minus 8 last night. Plenty more games off before the big thaw!

Home to Watford tomorrow. Only thing that will go in our favour is they have a few injury worries. Lot of Postponed games in the lower leagues. Good luck to those who are playing this weekend.
 
And another 3 points go west. Now the gap is 7 points. Unless we hit a miracle I cannot see us escaping from it now. Ok well our next game is an away tie to Preston on Boxing day. Ironically we play Preston in the FA Cup on 5th January. Preston are going great guns at the moment so it could be another battering. Ho Ho Ho I hope everyone has an enjoyable Christmas when it gets here. I myself am working Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Have a good one everyone and above all stay safe and warm and be Jolly.

I don't know what it's like not having to work Christmas and especially boxing day!

I enjoy bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to the old dears in the care home. This will be the 3rd Christmas that I've worked. I get New year off.

United's game called off for the weather, frozen all weather pitch!!
New Rangers manager starts with a win in 5 goal thriller. Celtic beat the parked bus of Aberdeen 0-1 with goal in 87 minutes.... never stop.

Gas cooker got condemned three weeks ago and trying to get a replacement sorted is not what I need at the moment.

I hope you are all good, teams win playing good stuff and keep safe.
