2022/23 Football Season.

They think it's all over. It is now. We lost 1-2 :( 2nd from bottom and if Coventry win tomorrow night, we will be rock bottom. Div 1 looks attractive at the moment. Next game is Home to Cardiff City on Saturday.
 
Went last night.
lost 1-2, poor first half, came out firing, scored equaliser, never carried it on.
they scored again from another set piece, same scorer, ex player!!!!!!
just not good enough!
with away form absolutely shocking. It is a good thing that there are quite a few really bad sides in the division.

Salford away Saturday, they are in promotion form!

Hmm now that comes as no surprise. We have won just 1 game out of 8. That's a terrible start. We need a new manager and also we need Deano to dig deep into his pockets and give the new manager something to buy a few decent players otherwise we are going down.

Well, that was a turn up, not a turnip!
we won 1-0 away!
we only had 25% possession!
we stopped Salford from having a shot on target!
not a classic, but a nice away win, only our second in fifteen away trips!

Well our current amazing run continues! :( Drew 0-0 with Rotherham and stay in the bottom 3. Lets hope the international break helps the team to gel and we can start moving up the league.
 
Had a 'win on penalties ' win last night v Bolton in the pizza cup, decent game, lively nearly threw it away.
Next up Walsall away Saturday.
Can't predict anything, with this lot!

We hit the winner in time added on. That is the way to do it, final kick of the ball just like one of two premiership teams do all the time. First time for us, for such a long while!

Germany tomorrow, need a win I think.

We’re delighted to welcome Mark Fotheringham to Huddersfield Town as our new Head Coach!


The 38-year-old Scotsman has been identified as the right man to lead the First Team after a thorough recruitment process.

His contract, which runs until June 2025, was finalised on Wednesday morning, but he had already started his work at Town by taking training for the first time on Tuesday afternoon as preparations continue for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship game at Reading.

Well let's hope he does something with us, or he'll be off too. Never mind the contract to 2025. If he's rubbish, then the fans will boo him off. Time will tell.

Away to Reading tomorrow. Mr Fotheringham's first match with us. Let's hope we bring all 3 points back up the motorway. A ball hasn't been kicked and some of our fans are slating him. Let's give it say 4 or 5 games and if we are still floundering then we'd have every right to slate the man off.

Yeah and Reading have always been a bogey team to us. Maybe we can't change that tomorrow. Enjoy your day at Barrow. Nice part of the world up there.
 
Well,well,well, another win third on the front and another 1-0.
It would have been more but their keeper made some outstanding saves.
