2022/23 Football Season.

Home to the grim tomorrow, they are bringing around 400 supporters, which is decent because the game means nothing to both teams.

Good luck to all our teams tomorrow.

Good luck mate. Our eyes are on the team's around us cos we ain't got a game till Sunday 30th April.

Well for one foul moment It looked like we were in trouble cos Reading were drawing and above us. Thankfully Coventry have pulled it back. It's going right to the wire. We really do need to pull off a win next Sunday at Cardiff. Trouble is Reading play Wigan next Saturday and Wigan are relegated. And to make matters even worse our penultimate game will be Home to the Mighty Owls on Thursday 4th May then our last game will be home to None other than Reading on 8th May. It would be so cruel if we were to go down at the last hurdle especially with all the recent hard work we have put in. Now Blackpool have scored and won and Sit 3 points behind us. Really is getting tense now.

Won comfortably 2-0, another peno and a free kick gives us three points and certain top half finish. But other than those two highlights that is it! Grim were the better side, lacking a goalscorer and putting it in the net.
am I happy we won? Yes!
am I happy with a top half finish to the season? With everything going on? Well not bad!
am I happy and confident about next season? No!
things have to change, there was a lot of empty seats and the grim supporters were much louder than ours even though we were winning. They won't be happy, with not taking something from the game.
one more home game. But a trip to the wombles next Saturday for us!
Ho hum!

Well done. Wish we could say the same thing.

Nice win for Cardiff puts them safe. The rest of us are battling. Tomorrow night Blackpool take on Millwall. A win for Pool puts them on level points with us but we have a much better GD. It really is getting scary and there is no question about it we have to beat Cardiff on Sunday. The scary game comes on Saturday cos Reading take on Wigan and a win for Reading drags us in to the relegation place. A win for Wigan would put them 1 point behind us. A draw would leave things as they stand. The only saving grace is we have a match in hand over them all. As you can imagine we are all on tenter hooks. It really is going to the wire stuff. I need all my fellow forum footy members to get behind us please. Keep yer fingers and toes crossed for us please.
