2023/24 Football Season.

Lost 5-3 :( QPR drew 2-2 so now the gap is just 2 points. Now we Face Sunderland at Home on Weds night. QPR travel to Stoke also on Weds night. Stoke are 1 point ahead of us and lost their last 3 games so unless we get lucky over Sunderland, Weds night could see us in the relegation zone. Not looking good at all :( :eek: :rolleyes:

Can't believe the turnaround in second half mate.

We lost 2-1 at Donny.
Not impressed by our performance.

Yeah It was a stunner mate. God knows what went wrong in the 2nd half. Sorry to hear that you lost to Donny.
 
Here we go tonight is another big game for us Home to Sunderland and QPR away to Stoke. Fingers crossed that we can get all 3 points and that QPR lose or just draw otherwise we could be in the relegation zone at 9:30pm. A win for QPR and a draw for us puts in the zone. Going to be a nerve wracking 90 mins for us.
 
Oh Yesssss victory is sweet. 1-0 win to us. Wooohooo and QPR lost so that makes the gap 5 points. I feel so happy with that but we cannot afford to be too complacent there's still 14 games to come. Next up is a Home tie to Hull on Saturday. They beat us at theirs in November so we need to gain revenge.

German joins Huddersfield Town as Head Coach on a contract running until 2026

- André Breitenreiter named the new Head Coach of Huddersfield Town
- 50-year-old has a track record of success in Germany & Switzerland
He will complete the VISA process this week, with Caretaker Manager Jon Worthington leading the team in Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Hull City.

André is known in his native land as an expert in getting teams into the German top division.

He made his name by steering SC Paderborn 07 to the Bundesliga for the first time in the club’s history in 2014, with a last day win securing an unlikely promotion.

His two seasons at the club soon earned him the top job at Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04, where he earned them Europa League football through a fifth-placed finish in 2016.

André soon earned his second promotion from the 2. Bundesliga as manager of Hannover 96 in the 2016/17 campaign.

With nearly 150 games as a manager in the Bundesliga under his belt, he moved to Switzerland and steered FC Zurich to a shock Swiss Super League title in 2022, ending the club’s 13-year wait for a championship. It’s the only season in the last six in which BSC Young Boys didn’t win the division.

Whilst this comes as welcome news it will be far too late to get us promoted the Prem this season like he did with all those other teams in his career, but hopefully he will save us from relegation. Only saving grace is we are 5 points ahead of the drop zone and need Worthy to steer us to victory Tomorrow afternoon. Andre's first game will be down at Watford next Saturday that will test his metal though Watford haven't got good form if the last 5 games are anything to go by it should be a doddle for us but who knows. Anyway back to tomorrow and I wish all our teams good luck this weekend.
 
Lost 2.1 and QPR won so that's it now we are in trouble cos we play Watford next Saturday and QPR play Rotherham. I really can't see us beating them our new coach will have to be good to pull us out of relegation zone.
 
Lost 2-1, had chances, didn't take them and they scored a beaut with minutes to go.
Their goalie had a good game, though shouldn't have been....
Manager said some pretty witless things after the game, which didn't go down well.

Some things don't change :)

Trip to Vicarage Road(Watford) for our lads tomorrow afternoon. Gotta try and bag all 3 points. I fancy QPR to annihilate Rotherham so we deffo need a win at Vicarage Road. It will be our new coach's first game in charge.
