2024/25 Football Season

Our trip to Austria is going ok. We lost the 1st game and won the 2nd one and now we face US Lecce on Sunday before returning back to the UK for the Yorkshire Derby friendly with Sheffield Utd next Friday. 2 weeks on Saturday and the new season begins. The summer break has soon gone.

It seems that by the end of tomorrow DUFC will be third in their little league and not qualify for the next stage...
probably be decided on goal difference.
letting in goals for fun at the back.

Ultras are not happy, already.

Oh dear mate that's not good at all :(

One more Austria match today at 11am and the lads will be flying home tomorrow morning. So far it's been a good trip for them having won 1 and lost 1. Once they get back on home turf it's practice in preparation for next Friday's game against Sheffield Utd The last friendly game. Hard to believe that the new season is knocking on the door. Michael Duff believes he can turn us around and I hope he does. Lets see if he can shine and get us back to the Championship. I remain optimistic at least for now lol.

Well we won the last Austrian match and takes the tally up to 2 wins out of 3 matches. 6 goals scored and 6 conceded over the 3 games is pretty good. In the League that would give us 6 points out of 9. Next Friday we play host to Sheffield Utd in the final friendly game. The following week we are down at Posh in the first League match of the season.

@hankjam Good luck in the Scottish football today. Hope they win.
Cheers JB
Our game is tomorrow lunch time.
It's slightly bonkers as for some reason the local polizei have taken it upon themselves to introduce some strict separation of United and Dee fans walking up to the ground. There has never been any trouble between the two sets of fans, not ever...
Needing to start the season with a statement.
So fingers crossed.

Jambos and the Huns are underway, hoping for a win for the Jambos!!

General note. Season ticket sales across the country have shown a steady increase over the last couple of years, which is good.

Won 2-1 in our final friendly last night v Wigan.
Wasn't the best but it will do it we replicate it next Saturday dinnertime v Notts co.
Bring it on! (Please!!!!!)

Here we go everyone. A new season starts up today. For some unknown reason the kick's off in League one are 5:30pm. We travel to the Posh(Peterborough United) Always been a bogey team for us. New players, New Manager, New season so lets all be positive.
Good luck to all our teams this weekend. Hope they win.

Slow again.
Last week 2:2 with Dundee at Home.
Took the lead both times and then gave away a pen.
Game generally well received, first night nerves, win would have been a bonus.
Away at Ross County this afternoon, which should be a good indicator of where we are at.

Good luck to all posters and their teams!
