2024/25 Football Season

0-0, that sums it up.
Fair result, defences on top, but a poor game to start it off.
Poor entertainment.
A point is a point.
 
It's finished 0-2. That's poor really considering we had 17 shots, 5 of em on target and 5 off target and 7 blocked shots. Still it's 3 points on the board so hey ho. Next up a Cup tie Home to Morecambe on Tuesday night and a League game Home to Stevenage on Saturday.

That's bad luck mate :( Early days yet though.
Thanks. To be honest I didn't think we'd win given that Peterborough have always been a bogy team.
 
And it's over. 3-0 winners. Unbelievable how we had 24 shots, 7 on target, 8 off target and only manage 3 goals. Morecambe had a man sent off after 75 mins. I think we need to practice more at hitting the target. Oh well round 2 here we come.

Yeah mate, but I would like another league two club at home, to try and get into third round for a bigger premier club
We took our chances last night, plus an early goal, and we missed a peno.
But happy with the result.
 
EFL 2nd round we have drawn Walsall Away. Now that's an interesting one. I believe Walsall are in League 2 so we should have the upper hand but as the late great Jimmy Greaves once said. "It's a funny old game"

Ooh dear mate Foxes is a tough one for you mate. It will be a Money spinner though. Good luck with that mate. I was laughing cos our Arch Enemies Leeds got dumped out at the hands of Middlesbrough.

Yes it would be quite something if you did beat the Foxes. You have a good chance cos teams like that never field their strongest team in a cup. They prefer to leave the strongest for the League.

We would struggle to beat their u21s.
as when playing prem teams u21s in the paint pot cup thingy. Some motors thingymybob now.
