2024/25 Football Season

Morcambe lost to Donny. I bet Tranmere were heaving a sigh of relief. Donny look set to come join us next season. I hope theybring Bradford city with them then we can have another 2 derby games. We aren't going up cos we aren't good enough for the championship just yet. I hope I'm proved wrong though I cannot see it.

On sky announced the take over is maybe back on.
It it could be dependent on survival.
But I ain't happy if this lot are just asset stripping.

At home to Motherwell who could be having a bit of new manager bounce as they have just appointed the replacement of Stuart Kettlewell, who resigned because of the abuse he and his family were receiving, Really not good.
We could do with a win ourselves mind.

Good luck to all our teams this weekend.

Away to Notts county tomorrow.
Best of luck to all our teams playing this weekend.

Lost 2-1, an encouraging display against a top team in our division.
But couldn't score when on top. (Again)
But that is ten defeats in a row.
Only Carlisle picked up a point.

Home to Accy on Tuesday. Boxing day postponement. Gotta get three points if we have any hope.

1-0 win, which was just in time. Lovely goal by our big loanee striker and a clean sheet to boot.

Saturday was very unusal in that both of the Old Firm teams lost.
Celtic, slightly understandable after their efforts mid-week and Hibs are well on the up, a prime example giving a manager time to turn it round. They couldn't buy a win from the start of the season.
Rangers got beat by St Mirren at home 0-2, they were utterly awful and the manager still hasn't been sacked.

Aberdeen win at home for the first time in long.
Ross County beat Dundee 3-1, which is the cherry on the top of the week.

Happy days!!

Just wonder what odds you would have got for the big two getting beat?

Lost 0-1 to one of the worst sides seen at PP.
Manager sacked.
Coach Crosby put in his place.

It was awful.

Port Vale at PP on Saturday, early ko.

was hoping you were going to get it back, just didn't happen. Sorry mate.
Cheers mate. A lot of fans are calling for Duff to go but to be honest it won't make much difference. We aren't going up and I think we'll drop out of the Play off's. Need a good clear out over the summer.

Lost 1-3 last night to Hibs and the fans are raging.
1-1 at 80, score a goal, ref gives it, no Hibs play appeals, goes to VAR and 5 minutes later disallowed for handball. There is absolutely no evidence of handball.
Hibs score in 91 and 95.
2-1 at 80 and it's a different game.

Hopeless refereeing.
