2024/25 Football Season

Happy Birthday @Lamont D
Wishing all our teams win today.

United are not playing this weekend as it's Scottish Cup.
We can be happy that Hearts beat Dundee 3-1 last night so it's since 1910 since Dundee last won the Scottish Cup.

Lost again :( All the other results went against us so bye bye play off zone. Next up Away to Crawley next Saturday afternoon. Both Bolton and Charlton play on Tuesday night so a chance for them both to increase that gap even more. League One again next season. Need a clear out this summer.

Breaking news. Michael Duff has been sacked as head coach. John Worthington has stepped in as caretaker manager for the remaining 10 matches of the season. Lets see if he can inject some morale booster in to the team and maybe just maybe turn things around though I think it's too late now the Horse has bolted so to speak. Hopefully next season we'll have a stronger team and a manager with desire to take us places. We live in hope.

That is a shocking list mate.
We have one similar, ten years of these owners and ten appointments.
Only a couple of decent ones.

However our newest incumbent has in his three games got five points. And enough of it continues to more or less ensure survival. But I'm not counting my chickens.
We came from behind and beat the team with the best away form by 2-1!
And it was the best we have played over ninety minutes all season.
Different shape, formation tactics and one of two injured back. And a couple of players dropped.
Change of captain.
And the SWA SWA roared them on to the final whistle, and all on my birthday.

Bradford away next Saturday. Oh no!

Yeah you might struggle with our Neighbours on Saturday. They are promotion candidates and they won't let that slip. Good luck.

Lost 0-1 to one of the worst sides seen at PP.
Manager sacked.
Coach Crosby put in his place.

It was awful.

Port Vale at PP on Saturday, early ko.
As a Northampton Town fan, i could have done with you beating Bristol Rovers.

He's clutching at straws now. I'd like to hope we can make the play offs but to be honest with just 10 games remaining and a lot of them against tough opposition I think it's not gunna happen. Lets stay in League one another season and build a strong team.

At home to Dundee on Sunday afternoon at 15:00 after the Old Firm game at 12:00.
The Huns still being in Europe after winning pens last night.

Good luck to all our teams this weekend.
Crack on boys!!

We had to let them have a concelation goal lol. Finish 5-1. We had 24 shots, 9 on target so could have bagged some more goals. Never mind we won and that's what counts. Back in the play off's again. 1 point between us and 7th place Bolton. Taking a rest next week as it's Internationals. Next game is Away to Charlton 29th March. Now that will be a good game.

Flipping heck Bradford v Tranmere 15 mins of added time. Well done Tranmere on beating our Neighbours Bradford and Morecambe drew so the gap is 6 points. Hopefully that is enough to keep you in League 2. @Lamont D pleased for you mate.
All I can say is wow!
We won by a penalty. Controversy abound.
The odds buster and the stats guys have a headache!

Can't believe it. Wow.

And as you say six points clear on relegation zone.

Fleetwood away next up!
Can we continue?
Eight points from 12. Wow!
Great new manager bounce.
