8 Week blood sugar diet

After reading the book, l went to see my diabetic nurse. She was interested but worried so l saw my doctor. I assured him that l would test my blood 3 times a day, and send in my results every week.
After just 2 weeks l came off insulin and after 3 l stopped taking Metformin.
I am now in my fifth week and very happy.

When where you diagnosed btw?

You mentioned that the nurse was worried, but what was your doctors reaction? Was he sceptical about the diet? Did he think diabetes type 2 could be reversed? What was his reaction?

ARe you going to contine the last 3 weeks? Are you gonna eat a special diet or are you just gonna keep watching over the weight?

The doctor was a bit sceptical, but l said that l would record all my readings, three a day, and send him a copy. He was ok with this.
Not sure about the next couple of weeks, but may try the 5/2 diet.
I will watch my weight, but l do like bread and red wine. I haven't had either for 5 weeks.
