"A new you in 42"

ill have a look at the site, its better for me to use money rather than cards though (they are maxed lol) dunno, id like to go to and from work each day (sunny days) 14 miles each way but i may have to build up to it, i had to google "how to change gears" today half way up a hill lol, couldnt figure it out believe it or not (thankyou yahoo answers lol) we have lots of country lanes near work so i may try some out if the weather permits tomorow (no traffic lights) but i am real sore lol, im slightly worried about getting naked at the hospital next wednesday (camera into bladder ewww) with red raw gonads but i figure ill explain so i dont get admitted lol
Ouch!
Definitely padded shorts required - chamois cream works a treat too.
Yep, been there, done that with the gears - except I went changing through the gears the wrong way on a hill, ground to a halt and fell over! Doh!
Camera into bladder sounds just wonderful - you must be so looking forward to that! Perhaps whilst you are there you can ask them to make you joy complete by bursting one of the blisters on your backside!

.....thats great Jamrox.......BTW I only just realised this thread is under the Type 2 on Insulin, I'm on metformin, so hope its ok if I still join in....

....was desperately having a go with the body blade last night, haven't quite got used to it yet, it seems to control me rather than the other way round, at times I felt I might fly across the room ha ha! but will persevere as its quite fun exercise.....at least I got my walk done.....:headphone:

It's been all about the bingo wings today- cleaned some more windows( whose bright idea was it to put small paned sash windows back in?) and did some very high level dusting. The harvesters are in a state of shock! Couple of short blasts on the exercise bike and a bad tempered stomp around a new layout Asda will have to make up the rest.

Crawled to my car after session with personal trainer. Managed to control the peak I always get with his sessions to 8! Yaayyyyy. He said you are not fit but you are definitely fitter than you were. I'll take that happily.

Hi Pollylocks , sorry for the confusion.
I didn't mean for it to go on the type 2 with insulin page , I meant it to go on the type 2 page. Im just diet controlled.
I'm just learning how to navigate this and didn't realise my error until people were adding post.

Watch you don't do an Eddie the Eagle lol

Hey lovely People , thats day 5 out of the way.
500 calories worked off on my bike.
I went off the rails with my diet yesterday ( some might have seen on another post how rotten that made me feel.last night ) so I worked really hard to get things back on track today.
Onwards and upwards.37 days to go

did my first proper ride with peddles locked into shoes, i did 45 minutes but felt really good, i only went back to work because my phone kept ringing and when i tried to answer it i was on the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic lol but im loving it, and now we are embarking on another geocache (treasure hunt) adventure, me and littlen on our bikes :)

I always think those pedal/shoe things look so dangerous  Well done on living to tell the tale.

I have kind of lost my way this week, but will hopefully be back in the swing soon as I was enjoying it. Well done everyone on your sterling efforts :) x

Dry again today at lunchtime so a brisk 50 minute walk over a slightly different route to normal. Hoping the weather forecast improves for the weekend as it's not looking good at the moment.

No exercise today except changing gear and steering the car.

(Jamrox, if you want the thread moved, report one of the posts (such as this one), and ask admin to do it.

Hey folks

I have been away from cyberspace for a week, and have been trying to find the Jamrox challenge thread. You moved, but I found you!
Have been in a remote place, no internet, phone but worse thing was no swimming pool, ARRRGGHH! That did give me a big challenge, but I have stuck with it, and managed at least 30 mins exercise a day, though I did have to break it into manageable chunks. I almost resorted to counting knitting as my exercise, my hands did move quick, and I have completed the back of a sweater, but that would surely be cheating?. Will catch up with all your progress over the weekend. I've missed you.
