....Both the bp readings you give are good peacetrain....I use a bp monitor at home.... Omron, got it as its the same one my GP uses, it measures your pulse too, quite cheap from Amazon, but I only test it once a week as that sort of thing is too easy for me to get obsessive over, already seem to go through bg strips at a rate of knots....
I discovered a new way of ironing years ago, when I became disabled so no longer able to manage the conventional way. Wash clothes on a low spin speed, pull into shape before hanging on coat hanger. Hang coathanger on washing line till the item is dry. If anyone wants more pressed garment then I tell them about DIY. But I know it is your way of relaxing zand, so hope you can find another enjoyable activity while the ban is in place.I walked for an hour this morning. I have been banned from ironing for 2 days by my chiropractor who asked me if I'd been lifting heavy suitcases while on holiday! I am getting withdrawal symptoms already as I had planned to iron lots today. Still I have mended the pair of shorts. We're going out for a meal tonight so I have worked out what I am going to order in advance and adjusted the rest of the day's food to fit. If they don't have what I want to order I'll miss out that course 'cos there is no way I am messing up this week after Tuesday's weigh-in.
that is certainly not lazy Pipp! Well doneAfter scaring myself a bit yesterday, I did 40 minutes in the pool today, comprising 20 minutes moderate speed breaststroke, 10 minutes water running, 10 minutes physio exercises. Feel a bit lazy, but no asthma attack.
well I tried to ignore the ban and I ironed one item and I'm in pain now (ribs and sternum and back) so I guess I'd better listen.I discovered a new way of ironing years ago, when I became disabled so no longer able to manage the conventional way. Thanks Peacetrain for the title.
A group of us are taking part in a challenge to help us get fit.
It is very informal and individual to you. NO pressure.
The aim is to do 30minutes of exercise every day for 42 days starting Monday 19th May ie Monday.
The exercise can be as easy or hard as you wish. It can be walking , , swimming, keep fit , golf , dancing in your nightie ... what ever you wish
Its meant to be fun , no pressure .
Who's up for it?[/QUOTE
